The Gilmore Lake Association is comprised of lakeshore property owners and other area residents who are interested in preserving the quality of this important aquatic resource.

Gilmore Lake is located in the northern portion of Washburn County, Wisconsin. It is approximately 389 acres in size and has a maximum depth of 36 feet and an average depth of 16 feet. The water clarity is excellent and because it is spring fed, it doesn’t suffer from low lake levels during times of drought as many of the other area lakes. The lake is managed for the fishing of northern pike, largemouth bass, and walleye. It is considered an excellent recreational lake for swimming, skiing, and other water sports.
